Individuality + Community

Individuality + Community
In this episode Sahra Rahim shares experiences of breaking boundaries and creating a life that she loves where she is connected with her individuality and supported in community.   Growing up in Pakistan, Sahra was limited by society and safety norms.  Her parents were encouraged to make decisions on her behalf but her mother bravely encouraged Sahra to make her own choices.  Supported in her individuality by a strong family, Sahra braved many new situations and found internal strength and resilience during times of challenge.  When asked what she would tell others who are contemplating trying new things, Sahra says "Go for it!"  Her stories and examples illustrate the beauty of weaving together eastern and western principles and she finds great joy in her work at Raising Humanity where that weaving together happens everyday for parents and families.  You can find Sahra on LinkedIn or at Support@raisinghumanity.com
